For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta
- Pasta – 8 oz (cavatappi, penne, or your choice)
- Heavy cream – 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese – 1 cup, grated
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Salt and black pepper – to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken Bites
- Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the chicken with cornstarch or flour to coat evenly.
- Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside, keeping it warm.
2. Cook the Pasta
- In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package directions.
- Drain the pasta and set it aside.
3. Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
5. Assemble and Serve
- Top the creamy pasta with the garlic butter chicken bites.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
