This Alice Springs chicken recipe is one of Outback Steakhouse’s most popular menu items. The dish is named after the town of Alice Springs in northern Australia. And while people typically go to the Outback for their steak, this juicy, flavorful chicken gives any steakhouse a hard time!
Ingredients:
°4 boneless chicken breasts
°Half a cup of mustard
°6 slices of bacon
°Half a cup of honey
°2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
°1 cup sliced mushrooms

First, sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt. Cover it and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

While the chicken is in the refrigerator, cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside. * Do not scrape grease. *

Fry the chicken in the bacon fat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until golden. Place the chicken in a 9 x 13 inch pan or pan.
