Ingredients
- Bread Rolls
- 10–12 slices of bread (trim crusts)
- 1/2 stick butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- Egg Mixture
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp milk
- Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
- For Cooking
- 2 tbsp butter (or more as needed)
- Optional Garnish
- Powdered sugar
- Maple syrup (for dipping)
Instructions
Prepare the Filling
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, light brown sugar, and 3 tsp cinnamon until smooth and creamy.
Prepare the Bread Rolls
- Remove crusts from the bread slices.
- Flatten each slice to 1/8-inch thickness using a rolling pin.
- Spread a generous layer of the cinnamon filling on each slice.
- Roll each slice tightly into a log, keeping the filling inside.
