Cinnamon French Toast Roll Ups

Ingredients

  • Bread Rolls
    • 10–12 slices of bread (trim crusts)
    • 1/2 stick butter (softened)
    • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
    • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • Egg Mixture
    • 2 eggs
    • 3 tbsp milk
  • Cinnamon Sugar Coating
    • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
  • For Cooking
    • 2 tbsp butter (or more as needed)
  • Optional Garnish
    • Powdered sugar
    • Maple syrup (for dipping)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, light brown sugar, and 3 tsp cinnamon until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Bread Rolls

  1. Remove crusts from the bread slices.
  2. Flatten each slice to 1/8-inch thickness using a rolling pin.
  3. Spread a generous layer of the cinnamon filling on each slice.
  4. Roll each slice tightly into a log, keeping the filling inside.
