- 300g grated mozzarella cheese
- 3 tbsp cornstarch

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
- In a bowl, mix the grated mozzarella cheese, cornstarch, egg, and salt (if using) until well combined.
- Knead the mixture with your hands until it’s smooth and no longer sticky.
Step 2: Shape the Cheese Balls
- Shape the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter).
- Place the balls on a greased plate or tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Step 3: Fry the Cheese Balls
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Remove the cheese balls and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
